A body of a white man is recovered from a shallow grave in one of the most troubled corners of the Wind River Reservation and Father John O'Malley knows that if the victim's killer isn't caught quickly, this tragedy will only be the beginning. He and his old friend Vicky Holden do their best to find the killer even though it means that Vicky is suddenly caught in a dangerous game...with her own life at stake.
