Description
"This cabin was built by one of your family ancestors," Grandpa would say as they rode horseback toward the Juanita Bridge, also constructed by his People. For many years the local villagers bartered amongst each other for hay and whatever else was needed. The villagers had attained a great deal of self-sufficiency along the Spanish Trail. The Spanish had become a political power that incoming Americans who spoke English rather than Spanish would envy and then attempt to break.
