Description
Amelia van den Broek is sent to stay with her cousin Zora in Baltimore, Maryland during the summer of 1889. Zora shows her city life and aims to help her find a suitable man to marry. When Amelia starts having disturbing visions that offer glimpses into the future, she is soon the talk of the town. Meanwhile, Amelia's attraction to artist Nathaniel, who is outside of Zora's circle, threatens the new life she is building. When one of her own visions comes true, her world is thrown into chaos, and those around her begin to wonder if she is actually the cause of her visions. Though Amelia is drawn to Nathaniel, she cannot predict whether he will remain in her future.
