Description
Discussion by judges and court officers about the project for parties involved in domestic relations cases to meet outside the court room to work out differences early in the process. A two person team one a mental health professional and one legal professional meets with the family. The team gives them a realistic expectation of what would happen in a court case. This helps the people make the decisions themselves. People are happier with the results than if the court rules. The program is very successful.
